A Bopouqh Councillor in Trouble. —^oi Press Association.) Jlahton, Tuesday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day Thomas Armstrong, a member of tho Marton Borough Council, was sentenced to fourteen days hard labor for using profane language in a public place. Tho offence consisted in making a profane remark in answer to something said by the Salvation Army in the street. Armstrong's counsel gave notice of appeal und bail was allowed in £4O.
