The Annie Brandt Comedy Company gave their initial performance in , St. George's Hall on Saturday evening, pi vine " He would be a Soldier," then an olio, and finishing up with a nigger farce. There was a very fuir and appreciative audience. Of course, the smallness of Ibe Hall is a great 'drawback, thero only being room for inch a small stage, thereby putting the actors at a double disadvantage, namely that of being so near tho back of the Hall and yet being so near the audience, Itie Cumpany had intended'giving a sacred concert on Sunday night after church, but as the weather became so rough they had to abandon the idea,
