We held our fortnightly sale in tho Glover Koad Yards Hawcra on Wednesday the 18: h inst, when the entry of stock was again very heavy, every yard being packed with cattle. Among the lines was a quantity of good quality beef which i liciied fair competition amongst the bujors present, and every pen was sold. Stores and ycuug rtoclt were again dull "f sale, presumably on account of the shortness of feed and tightness of money, hut still with very few exceptions we managed to placo what we had entered, though regret if anything the prices wore a trifle lower than last sale. Sheep were ogaiu in poor demand, and what sales we effected were only at nominal prices, We quote Fat bullocks, L 5 18s to LG 2s GJ j 2-year steers, L2 8s to L 3; heifers in calf, L3l7s Gd to L 4; 18 months to 2-year heifers, L2l3s; fat cows, L39s to L4Bs; dairy cows, LBBs to L3l7s Gd. Sheep: 2 tooth wethers, 7s 2d to 8s 3d; lambs, 4s Id,
