FEATHERSTON.
(By Our Own Correspondent,) At a meeting of tho Stowards of the W.K.0., held at the Empire Hotel, Featherston, last night, the Treasurer reported a balance in hand of £207 Os 7d, Accriunts amounting to £7B were passed. _ It was resolved that the new buildings, etc., of the Club receive a good coat of priming, and that the tress recently planted in the saddling paddock bu fenced round, Also that leave be granted to the Wairarapa Hunt Club to use the Tauherenikau course for a Steepleohase, provided it is ran on or before 7th June,
The next meeting of the Stewardi takes place on the 17th instant.
