Ohamberlain, Mntrie, and Cullen, The overseer reported on the work | I done, that.the water tables had been j 'f- cleaned in Chapel, Hall, Cross, Ban- " i niatsr, Boss, and Queen Streets. The creek i■" through Church acre has been cleaned also the culvert in Miriamf' strsel In Queen-street the water ' tables, are being attended to, ■ and a- quantity of atone bas been broken ready for concreting the gutters. A quantity qf asphalt has beenprepared for footpaths, etc. As there : is a lot of work on hand, viz., trial i * | well, concrete water channel, etc., no fresh work is recommended.
