(By Tolegrapb—Own Correspondent.)
Giieytown, Wednosday,
A representative mating of parsons connected with tho Prohibition Alliance was held last night. A resolution was unanimously carried strongly protesting against the action of the Government in reforence to the hurried way in which they had dealt with tho Government Alcoholic Sale Control Bill, and condemning such action. Secondly, that this meeting considers the Bill, excepting clmiso 9, as retrogressive, dangerous, and unworkable, as it is framed and amended largely in favour of the liquor interests, The meeting also warmly congratulated Air Earnshaw and Sir Hohert Stout for tho untiring way in which they have endeavoured' to bring about a bettor state of things in thiß respeot, It was resolved that the resolutions be forwarded to the Government.
