GOOD SAMARITAN VARIETY COMPANY.
The above company will appear at the Theatre Royal, Masterton, thib ovening, The Standard refers to them as follows:—There was a very large attendance at the Palace Hall, on Saturday night, to wituesa the first performance of this really first' class all-round Company. Everybody seemed surprised at such a good performance being given froe, The performance opened with ventriloquism by Mr 0. J. Bryant, who manipulated four wooden figures in such a mannor as to almost ondow them with life, and (rated one continual roar of laugher from start to finish. Mr Bryant is far and away the lest veutribquist that has visited this town. The singing and dancing of Mr Leslie was much appreciated and the character songs ot Mr Arthur Glyn fairly brought down tho house and ho had to respond to numerous encores, Tho performance concluded with a vory laughable farce which scut everyone homo ill roai'B of laughter. The entertainment is given ontirely for advertising purposes. Them is also a very liberal distribution on a novel Bystem of very valuable prizes consisting of watches, cruets, carvers, and other handsome and useful articles too numerous to mention.
