FEATHERSTON ROAD BOARD.
Wx Monthly Meeting, The nsnal monthly meeting of the Featliproton Road Bo«rd was bold on Batuiday last, there being present-Ues-rs Matthews, Mix, Donald, Bidwill and Mariin. The Treasurer reported an overdraft of £540 18s 6d. Accounts amounting to £265 10s 7d were pnsßed. Correspondence outwards was read. Correspondence inwards was read from, Mr Riddiford respecting the road to To Awaite.—Mr C. Pltillipsre the culvert recently put in the district Johnston's,—From Mr A. E, Pearce to Mr Wall, sanctioning the deviation in the road at Riverside,— From Mr Baker, re Keiroa Eoad.— From Mr Baker, re the surveying o the gravel pits on the Fahaoa Road. Mr Elgar interviewed the Board re Road, It was to tendern be called for the completion of the road as soon as possible. It was also resolved that tliß Works Committeo locate the expenditure of thirds at Buakokopatuna. Mr Bidwill gave notice of motion that the cost of strengthening the bridge near the wbare at Martinborough, be put to the bridge account, It was resolved, on the motion of Mr Martin that the strengthening of the aforesaid bridge be proceeded with at once.
