Miss Marion; ' MiKljcirnsjibo Prince gave an ndmirr \ nblo j'eiiderini! of the role, and her ' well cultivated voice waa. heard' to • great advantage in the beautiful solo 5 "Liivu is Blind," the inevitable result ' being a merited encore. Miss Maud ' Bratty, who has an exceptionally good '_ stage presence, is to be complimented > fuller interpretation of.the part of Pippo, and witli Miss Lily'Everett ' (Tho Mascotte) she shared deserved honours in the ever popular " GluGlu" duet. Miss Everett's acting was marked by ability, and, over, she dances very prettily, Master Harry (juealy was well cast.iu the part of lt'ocoo, his humour in the second net ns the chamberlain being excellent, Miss Lily Stephens, as Fia> " mettn, was distinctly successful, cos- ' turning the character with taste, mid Miss Lily Mowbray, as Bianca, was ' likewise good. A number of minor ' characters were ably filled,' and unstinted praise may he accorded in con- ' nection with the various groupings so ' artistically arranged by Mr Tom Pol- ' brd. The curtain had to he raised 1 at the end of each act, and applause 1 throughout was of the most generous nature." !
