BY DAMOCLES. Tho first match of tho season will bo played at Grcytown to-morrow altcrnotn between the first fifteen of the United Greytown and Red Star Clubs. The team to do battle for tbo former comprise the following players :-3a«e, McKcnzie, H. Udy, Juokson, Faulkner, Mnguiro, Tute, 0. and E Udy, C. and A, Board, Leech, Welch and Humphries. The team is regarded us a very strong one, and will take a lot of beating. However, I like tho Star team as published, and with one or two exceptions, which will he rectified later on, the fifreen is a sturdy sot of young players, I understand it is probable tbo whole of the men will get away, so that the Greytown taim will not have such an easy thing ns anticipated. Although tbo St:irs cannot be expected to win, the game will not benone-sided one, and if n fine day, some excellent ploy will bo witnessed.

The Orientals bad a practice match on the Oval yesterday; and a good number of players indulged. This Club will this season be far stronger than formerly, and will prove a better match for the Greytown Hard Cases, with whom somo close games wero played last year.
