THE FOXTON ASSAULT CASE.
Accused Sentenced to Two Years, (By Telegraph.—Press Association,) Wellington, Wednesday. William McKinley, a lad sixteen years of age, has been sentenced to two years imprisonment for criminal assault at Poxton. The probation officer's report showed tho piisoner to ho of bad character, having been in trouble on previous occasions, The Chiof Justice said as there was some doubt as to ihe prisoner's sanity, tho Croj/n would ascertain while he is in custody, whether bo is a fit subject for a Lunatic Asylum.
