Tho monthly meeting nf the Biiard Was held yesterday morning, ['resent —Mr J. R Blair (Chairman), Messrs Young, M'Cardlo, Buclianan, JFraser, and Dr Nowman, M.H.K, Tho following Wuirarapa business was transacted:—The resignations of Ella Barron, pupil teacher at Musterton School, and Etuma Kieiuensclineider, assistant teacher at Masierton School, were accepted. The transfer of Helen Kean from tho Mauricevillo School to the Masterton School was agreed to, tho Masterton Committee to be infotmed that Mr Johnston was to be transferred from tho infant school to tho main school, Miss Kean to tnko his place. John M'Kenzie, Mauriceville, applied to be transferred nearer tho sea. —Declined, The Pahiatua (Jommitteo wrote, recommending an increased salary for John Darroch, assistant master, and it was decided that ho should bo placed on tho same footing as regards salftry as the assistants at Featherston and Greytown. An application from the same Committee for an addition to the teacher's residence wdb postponed until next meeting, the Chairman to consult with tho architect in the meantime as to the cost. Tenders weio authorised to he called, to be approved by Mr Buchanan, for gravelling the Bchool grounds at Greytown. Tho interior of the Waihonga School was ordered to be painted on *hfl first suitable occasion. fß&fca Whakataki Committee applied for a Bhelter shod and a new clock. The requests wero granted, A request that the Board would assist in the establishment of an aided school at Tiraumea (Woodvillo) waß held orcr until information was obtained as to the number of, children likely to attend, ',
