ALLEGED DUMMYISM.
Prosecutions at Tammhl (By Telegraph.—Press Association), New Plymouth, February 14. The proceedings in the first dummyinm case in this district have commenced, Mr O'HaroJWtb, auditor ol the Crown Lanas~Departraent, swore an information to-day charging) John Lawson, of Elthuni, late of Okaiawa, with having made a false declaration under the Land Act. It is believed that Lawson lias left the colony, and a warrant for liis arrest has been taken out, It is expected that five or six otber cases of dummyism will be commenced in a few days,
