PAINFUL ACCIDENT.
Sorrow Escm ji m being Burned to Death,
i A. narrow escape from being burned to death was experienced about eight o'clock last ovening by little Olivo Jogo, tho daughter o£ Mr Thomas Jago, of Queen-street. The child was attired in a fancy fairy costume, and had gone upstairs to change it, Screamß were heard by the family below, and on rushing to the room the child was found to be in flames. The little girl was immediately covered with a blanket, but not before the flames had caught the light material in the room, Assistance being at hand, tho faro was Bubdued. Tho child was just saved in time, her hair being burned and her back, arms and shoulders being very badly burned., Mrs Jago 1b very ill, haying burn!; her hands and arms severely in rescuing her child. Had it not been for the prompt assistance of Messrs Millington and 'Eton, the house would probably have been destroyed, and as it was, damage to tho extent of HO was done.
