A Native Land Law Reform League has been established at Auckland, with Mr J, C, Firth as Chairman, with the following objectsTo secure tlm passage of a law to provide for the management of tribal lands by tho owners acting in their corporate capacity; the speedy ascertainment of title to lands owned by natives; the throwing open of surplus lands to Maoris for settlement; to improve as a people, and to bring Mapriß into the same position bs their follow subjects of other races, A great native meeting will be held in March next.
