FEATHERSTON TOWN BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of the Featherston Town Board was held last night, there being present Mossrs W. (Jundy (Chairman), A. Donald, J, Beat, W,tfodder, junr,, and G. Reynolds, The Treasurer reported a balance of M lis in tho Bank, The JRiito C'olleotor stated that there was JC3O of rates in arrear. On the moiion of Mr Ben), Mr J, Abbot was appointed Registrar of Dogs at a salary of 25% of tho money collected. It was resolved that a grant of ,£lO bo niado to the Library. A notice of motion stood in Mr Reynolds name; "That Constable Frederick C. Smith, or other the police officer or officers for the tinia boingin chargo of this town or district, is and tiro hereby appointed to enforce any penalty or to represent this Board in any proceedings in any Keaident Magistrate's Court, or before Justices of the Peace, in respect of tho broach of any. by-law or by-laws of this Town, District, or this Board, or generally, whensoever this Board may bo concerned in any matter whatsoever." The motion was oarried unanimously, and the meutint! terminated,
