"Tied" Houses. (By Telegraph,-Press Association,] Wellington, Friday. Judgment was given in the Appeal Court to-day, in the ease of Staples v. McKay, an action having reference to " lied" houses. Their Honours dismissed tho appeal, without calling on the respondent, on the ground that tho covenant being contained in the mortgage deed, camo to an oml when tbo money was paid off. Staples was ordered to pay costs.
