(By Telegrnph.—Our Special Correspondent,) Eketauoka, Thursday. The provisions of the Shop Assist--1 ants Act are already being complied with here, and starting from to-day the two storekeepers, Messrs Jaa. Jones k Co. and Henry Aulin k Co., will close their establishments on Thursday afternoons. They consider this arrangement preferable to the plan of lotting their men away separately on various afternoons during the week, and adopt it as the best means of meeting the difficulty,
