THE GOVERNOR AT WANGANUI.

Wanganoi, Tuesday, The Governor was entertained at a banquet last night, The Eon, Mr Reeves, replying to the toast of" Parliament" referred in feeling terms to the death of Sir Harry Atkinson, and the illness of the Hon. J. Ballanee, He said he was satisfied that the sterling worth and striot integrity, combined wjih the great colonial ex-.:A. penance of the New Ifigislativevfi: Councillors, would commend them to all sections of the community, His Excellency spoke warmly of the reception of himself and Lady Glasgow, The Hon. Hanry Matthews, M.P., made a brilliant speech in responding to the toast of "The Mother Country."
