DEATH OF AN OLD IDENTITY.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.] Wellington, Monday. Mr David Lewis, who was for many years connected with the N.Z. Coin* pany, died to-day at the age of ninety. He arrived in the Colony in 1840, and was Land Commissioner for the Company until about twelve years iifio, when its affairs wore finally woundup. •
