The Customs revenue keeps up well, tho receipts for September being £152,059; Auckland contributing £81,918, Wellington £29,320, Christeliurch £28,588,. and Duncdin £35,102, For tho half year tho receipts are £814,975, being £27,475 above the estimate, The beer duty, as usual in the winter months, is somewhat below the estimate. The revenue for tho half year is £26,018, or £2951 deficit. For tho month the amount collected was £4,573 ; Auckland £1,069, Wellington, £451 Christehurch £822, and Duuedin, £l,OlB,
