St Matthew's Choir Fund.
An entertainment in aid of the
| funds of St Matthew's Church Choir was held in tho schoolroom last I Friday) evening, there being a fairly good attendance of the publio. The first part of tho programmo consisted of tableau vivants by juveniles, tbo antics of the youngsters being grotesque and funny. The second part was davoted to music when the following programmo was rendered:— Song, Master W. Jago, "Theres no one like Mother to me;"- song, Mr H. Rorse, "Ta-ra-ra-hoom-tle-ay song, Mr Aitken, "In the Days of Happy Childhood song, Miss Gun', "EsmeraldaSoDg, Mr JackSnn, "On the Raft songs, Mr Clifford, "Mary of Argyle" and "Tho Song chat- Reached My Heart," Piano solos were given by tho Misses Pearson and Lett, and selections by Clifford's orchestra.
