Annual Meeting.

The annual moeting of shareholders in the Maurioeville Dairy Company, Limited, was held on Saturday last, about twenty being preserit, The balance-sheet and report were adopted without discussion, evidently giving great satisfaction. The retiring Directors, Messrs Wm, Jessen and Chaß. Larsen, were reelected without opposition* The auditors, Messrs Harry Keeno and N. Rasmussen, were also reelected. A hearty vote of thanks was pasfjd to the Direotors and Auditors for their past services,

The report read as follows ; Gentlemen,—We have the honour to lay before you our third annual balance sheet, being the first one that shows a profit. The amount of the profit is £125 Oa lOd, deducting former losses from which leaves us a surplus of £2l9s 2d. We have, during tho past year, disposed of fifty-five shares, on which hare been paid the sum of £9l 19s lOd, Wfi bavo reduced our mortgage to the Masterton Building Society sines last year by £BB 9s Bd, We have built a dwelling for our dairyman at a cost of £Bol2s lOd, Our total debt at this date is £491 Is Bd, and our assets are £1236 18s 2d. During the past season 87,813 gallons of milk wero received at tho factory at n coat of £9lB 5s Od, and produced 35,C391bs of butter. You will be called ou to-night to elect two members as Directors in place of Messrs W. Jessen and C. LarsenJsfco retire by effluxion of time, (fne annual election of auditors will also take place to-nigbt.
