Bail was allowed in prisoner's own recognisance m eaoh case of LIOU and a Burety of LI 00, Mr Ayeon, the curatorof the Masterton I'ish Ponds, liberated fiOOOLochLeven trout and 4050 American brook char fry and yearlings in the Hult river, at Belmont, yesterday. It is intended to liberate a very largo number of fry in tlio river this season in ordor to improvo the fishing. It has been decided to hold a Masonic Ball in Masterton on tho 7th of Beptem. ber. There is every prospect of the gathering being a most enjoyable one.
