The concert was preceded by a grand torchlight-Vision, headed by.the Qreytown Private P'rasfl liand.' •j-jie 'pngmei nicely decorated, was followed by the Brigade dressed up 18 clowns, to, who were playing football, setting of fireworks, and conducting themselves in a generally ludicrous manner. The concert was a decided success, Every
itom was rendered in. such a manner ustokeopthe house in a continued stato of applaußD, afow boing encored. At tlio conclusion of the progrniumo the hall was cleared, and a dance hold, at whioh about sixty couples were present. It is hoped that by tbiß coucort the Brigade will ho enabled to pay a large amount off the liability on the engine.
