A special meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Association was held ' to-night to discuss tho notices of ,;,, motion to alter the rules. Mr F. m Marr raised a technical objeotion to ' / the new southern delegates taking part in the proceedings, The Chairman, Mr H. Mcllwraith, ruled, in accordance with legal opinion, that delegates could only be appointed by jue. Ixeou'tiye Committee.
