Mr (/. lorns' Stock Report,
Mr J, lorns reports at his fortnightly stock sale on Saturday;— All classes of cattle were represented, in fact in dairy stock fully 100 head offered, but owing to the scarcity of feed 4c, a good many were unsold. In stores prices are about equal to list sale, Beef was represented by some cows and light bullocks, which made about 17s 6d and 16s per IOOIbs respectively. The following are the rates obtained;— Dairy cows, £4 to £6 ; springing heifers, £4 5s to £5 ; store heifers, £'& j large steers, 80s; small steers, GOs; yearlings, 40s; calves, 30s; fat steers, £s los; fat eow6, &5; light wethers, 13s; horses, nominal,
