MUNICIPAL CONFERENCE.

LAlt&, Tlio annual meeting of tho Munioi. pal Association began this morning, Mr Bell, Mayor of Wellington, presiding. Tbe report showed that out of 80 boroughs in tho Colony, only 27 had joined the Association, 38 had declined, and 20 had sent no replies. The balance sheet showed £56 to crodit. In consequence of the small attendance tho meeting was adjourned i until to-morrow to await tbo arrival of the delegates.
