A Denial.
[to the 'editor, waibahapa daily TIMES.] Sis,—ln thereport of the last meeting of the Benevolent Society it was stated that my family was making three pounds fourteen shillings a week. I should like to ask how long it is likely to last, as I should think that a nice income? But as it is the greatest untruth, I hope the public of Masterton will treat it for what it is worth, as I have never received any help from that Society, and I hope I shall be able to maintain my family without, I have nothing more to I am, etc., J.
