CORRESPONDENCE.
lit Recent Hunt.
[To the Emm Daily Times.]
Sir,—l wish to cordially thank those gentlemen who so kindly offered me their horses after I had tho misfortune to lose mine by his falling at one of the jumps. Not knowing some of the gentlemen referred to, I hope they will take this intimation of my high appreciation of their kindness. Although not wishing aiiy misfortune to happen to them, I hope some day to be able to return the courtesy in some way to themselves when in the bunting field, as it Ib these little acts of kindness and good feeling which are exhibited in tho huating field that help to make bunting the premier sport of England. I was very Borry to see that many still imagine to be in first is the sole object to be gained. (Jutil this feeling entirely dies sway, accidrntsof a most serious nature must and will oceur very frequently. I am, etc., W. E Bidwiii.
