It was-also repeated last' bight to an equally satisfactory ho'ase. The plot, the music; and .the general characteristics of Balfe's melodious opera are too well known to need recapitulation.. Suffice it: to say that the Opera from start to |j|)iijh wont with a " vim" that was delightful,' Bverme was in good voioe; but Mr Farley, as''Courit Arriheim, quite excelled himself in his ars ; tistio .rendering of;" The Heart Bowed Down," for which a deoided encore was demanded'but firmly, though courteously, refused.
