MAURICEVILLE ROAD BOARD.
A meeting of the MauricevilleEoad Board was hold on Saturday, May 7th. Present: Messrs C. Foraberc, H. W, Jackson, P, Andorson, 3, Bannister and J. F. Heckler, Mr Forsberg- was unanimously elected Chairman. On taking the chair, the new Chair? man thanked the Board for the honour (hey had conferred upon him, stating that he would endeavour to faithfully discharge the duties of his position to tbe heat of bis ability, The standing orders were adopted, Mr G Gundersen was appointed Bate Collector and the Clerk, Treasurer. Mr 0. Larsen, Contractor for the metalling on the Maunceville West >road, Waited on the Board requesting to put off the finishing of, th? metalling till the spring, as the wet weather had rendered it impossible to proceed with the work at present; he at tbe same time intimated bis readiness to finish tbe contraot at any time should the state of tho weather Eermit. It was decided, to let the latter stand over till next meeting, '" The Chairman was authorised'to get the watertablea on the Maunceyillp North road cleaned out and also fp get pome repairs done on tbp South road,
