Feilmho, Tuesday,
Mr Macarthur, M.Eli., addressed a meeting in the Assembly Booms here last night in reply to the Premier's Speech. The following resolution was carried unanimously, " That this meeting regrets that the vote of thanks and confidence passed as an act of courtesy to the Premier at his meeting at Feildint; has beep misinterpreted by the Government as a proof of the approval of this neighbourhood of tho Government, Having now heard the other side of the question from the member for the disirict, and while passing a vote of thanks and (Mdence in Mr Macarthur, the meotof opinion that the policy of tho present Government is inimical to the best interests of the present settlers of the colony,"
