MAURICEVILLE NOTES.
(From * Correspondent.) A change in the weather has occurred in. this part, and rain is falljng, which should gladden the hearts of farmers. A concert was held in the Ghora) Hull on Mqnday evening, which was well attended, visitors, from both Masterton and Eketaliuna bejng presgnt. The wljqle arrangements were carried out by the members qf the Mauriceville Ori;ket Club, Mr Mould officiating as M.C. Dancing was kept going until break of day, Mr W. Vile has lately sold out his coaching business to Mr W. Preston, seemingly a young man of considerable enterprise The latter has secured a most serviceable coach to run bet.veen Masterton and here, which we are sure will receive the patronage it deserves. We have formerly had two coaches running from here, but to make the best of thein they were two wretched conveyances.
Bushfalling is still goitig o', and bush men are very scarce.
A-good apcoromodation house is njiicli' as tea*' ejjers «re at a loss to know where to get accbmiDQdaijqq wjtjjout going a mile or two out of their way. '"
