LAND BOARD.
The monthly meeting cf the Land Board was held on Thursday morning, and was attended by Messrs J. H. Baker (Commissioner), W. A. Fitzherberf, and W. W. McCardle. The following applications to obtain titles were approved :—Section 83, block 1, Kopuaranga, P. Larsen; section 52, block 10, Mangahao, J. E. WiUon ; section 1, block 7, Mangaone, W. B, Matheson ; section 2, Levin Village Settlement, C. W. Borreson ; section 7, block 11, Mangahao, J. Macara. An application from E. E. Jvnighfc to obtain the title to section 71, block 6, Mangahao, as he was now residing on the land, was approved. With reference to an application from W. D. E ibblewhite to obtain the title to section 121, block 7, Mangahao, it was resolved to ask if all the conditions of the Act had been complied with, Mr W. W. McCardle, jun.S applied to obtain the title to section 88, block 8, Mangahao, and also to be exempted from residence. On the motion of Mr Pitzherbert, seconded by Mr McCardle, it was resolved that exemption for two years should be granted,and that the title should issue on single improvements. Applications as follows to capitalise were approved:— Section 18, block 11, Manguhao, 3. Macdonald ; section 7, block 11, Mangahao, J. Macara; section 121, block 7,W. D. Kibblewhite; section 5, block 3, J. T. Marriott j section 45, block 5, Mangaone, J. Robertson ; section 56, block 5, Mangaone, J. Baxter; section 39, block 5, W. Robertson ; section 31, block 9, F. Bright : section 52, block 10, Mangahao, J. E. Wilton ; section 1, block 7, Mangaone, W. B. Matheson ; section 21, block 11, Mangahao, A. M'Farlane ; section 14, block 7, W. R. Dearlove ; section 2, Levin, C. W. Borreson. The following applications to transfer weru granted : Section 123, block 14, Mangaone, 0. Seymour and T. Manley to C. Seymour ; section 80, block 14, Man« gahao, J. H. Kibblewhite to J. Stewart ; section 7, block 5, Omahini, J. Cull'nane to D. P. Cullinane; section 76, block 18. Mangahao, G. Warden to W. J. N. Upton. With reference to the cancellation of the interest of the selector of sections 6 and 7, block 8, Wainuioru, for non-fulfilment of the conditions of the Act, the Board decided to adjourn consideration until next meeting, so as to enable bim to prove that he is unable to pay his rent.
