Quite a new inngvatjou was jntro- ! duced into the Masteytou fibxjw on Thursday—that of showing stallions in the hack and harness horse classes. I think it hardly fair that owners of hacKii ShC"!' 1 to compete against Stallions, and I venture to say tuZ* ". most shows tlfp judges would decidedly object to give the latl.ep prizes. As the Masterton show has led the way in giving prizes to a j stallion, most decidedly oat of its proper class, we may expect next year to find such horses as Master Agnes, Administrator, Forester, aud Piscatorkms competing in the ladies and j gents backs, and perhaps buggy hwsfis, J am , £ c> H085c.0w.v55.
