Amateur Athletics.

Chbistchdbch, October 20. Mr Geo. F. Clulee, of Timarn, was a passenger per s.a. Doric to- day, asd being interviewed by three leading representatives of the Athletic Association, said hifMiad most satisfactory interviews in England with the English Amateur Athletic Association respecting th 6 proposed visit of a New Zealand team next year. He had a letter from the Secretary of the Association, which said that although nnable to guarantee the expenses of the trip they promised to give the visiting team such introductions to the athletic clubs as would ensure payment of expenses out of gate money. Mr Clulee will furnish a complete report, when a meeting of delegates will be held to consider the question.
