An agricultural show 13 to be held by the Woodville A. and P. Association in Noyember, 1892. According to the sheep returns there are in the Eketahuna district this year 10,4(i9 sheep, against 5,366 last year. In the Pahiatua district there are 61,2Q8, against 28,185, A man named Oxenham got drunk at Pahiatuathe other night and endeavoured to break into a private residence. As Jucit would have it, the residence was that of Constable Cooper. The man was " taken in and done for." Mr W. M.
