MASONIC.
TW Quarterly Communication, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Chbistchurch, Wednesday. The Quarterly Communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand was held for the first time at Christchurch last night, P.W.G.M. Bro. Thompson presiding. Officers from both N. and S. Islands and a large number of visiting Brethren were present. A considerable amount of routine business was transacted, including the consideration of the proposed constitution. A vote of sympathy was accorded Bro. T. Gil lon in the serious illness which prevented his attendance.
