MASTERTON.—WEDNESDAY. (Before His Worship the Mayor and Mr J. Butement J.P.). DBUNK. A "drunk" was convicted and discharged on the payment of 2s costs. LARCENY. Ernest Haskell, a lad 16 years of age, was charged with larceny of a saddle, the property of the Bev B. Wood. The accused pleaded " not guilty." Evidence was given by the Kev R. Wood, who identified the saddle produced, and the police who made the arrest. The accused was sentenced to one month's- hard labour in Wellington Terrace «Jaol.
