BENEVOLENT SOCIETY.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the above Society was held in the Borough Council Chambers tbii morning, there being present Messrs. R. M. Galloway (Chairman), W. Perry, Gapper, W. H. Beetham, and o»gg.
The minutes of the preriona meeting were read and confirmed. The Treasurer's report showed • oredit balance of £54 19s. Correspondence wbb received and dealt with, and a number of cases left orer for the police report. Belief to the following cases waa ordered to be continued:-- Mr», Weaver 15s, Ellen Jackson 15s, Sanh Clements 15s, Caroline Neill 15s, Norah De Fratus 10s, L. Jenkini 10s, G. Hadger and wife 10s, William Ford 7s, Charles Dono 7s, Mary Johnson Gs. Temporary —• Mri Potters 5.
