PAHIATUA—WEDNESDAY,

(Before Col. Roberts, R.M.)

County Council v A. Cooper.— Claim, 18s 2d, for rates due. Judgment for amount and costs.

Black v Price.—Judgment in this case, which was heard last Court day, was given for the plaintiff, allowing a sec off of £7 7s 6d ; costs, £6 12s.

H. Thompson v J. Barnett.—Claim, £7 lis 9d for carting certain timber to Ballance. A set off was put in for £5 10s. Mr Pownall for plnintiff, Mr Tosswill for defendant. As a portion of tho claim was paid into Court, judgment .was given for £3 of the set off.

T Hicks v P McGinley.—Claim, £4 4s 6d for goods delivered. Plaintiff nonsuited with costs.
