' ENGLISH, Lokdon, August 8. .The Army Service corps at Chatham refused to parade, retired to the barracks, and looked themselves up in the utovorojra. The ringleaders of the mutiny were sentenced to imprisonment for a month. The men allege they are overworked, and an enquiry is to be made into thoir charges. In answer to a question iu the House of Commons to-day, Baron de Worms stated that the Government had received despatches from Queensland on tho question of the separation of tho northern portion of the colony, but they considered that the present time was inopportune to come to a decision in the matter.
