Tbe Masterton Club has entered j a protest, claiming last Saturday's mutch with Grey town on tho ground that the latter allowed Polling to play for them, who had on a previous occasion this season boen permitted to play la the Eed Star team against Greytown. The Masteiton protest relies on the rule which defines that a member shall not play for two different clubs, while Greytown states Polling was only allowed to play as a substitute in tbe Star match and was acknowledged as Bucli. Tbe decision in : this protest is held over, J. Baumlierhas gone to live in Greytown, but he will still play for the Ciiterton.Rivals. until at least the first round of the Cup matches is over,
