FOOTBALL.
The match played on Saturday between the Juniors mid Jubilee Stars ended in a win for tha foraor by live points to two. In the first spell Green potted a splendid goal from tbo half-way ling, and Owen secured a try, and in the second spell Jura and Reiro secured a try each fur Gladstone and Blinkhornooue for tbo Juniors, No goals wore kicked from any of the tries obtained, Tho match was a jvery onjoyable one. The Juniors wero very superior to the opposing side, their passing, collaring and loose rushes being much admired by the spectators, of whom about ono hundred wero present. The Gladstone team wore very heavy, having some well-known Te Oro Oto players on their side, For tlio wiuners Owen played a splendid forward game, and succeeded in getting over the line three times, only one try of which was allowed, He was well backed up by McPherson, Blinkhorne T. Wrigley and W, Fellingham. The Junior biveks played their usual safe game, aud all played fairly well. For the Jubilee Stars Reire, Sam, Jaro and Bairstow were the pick of the team, but on the whole tho team played a good and hard game.
