Auckland v Wellington.
This match was played at Newtown Park, Wellington, on Saturday, in the presence of betweon five and six thousand people. In tho first spell Ellison got over the Auckland line, and Nichollß converted tho try into a goal. In tho same spell Jervis got a try for Auckland, but the kick at goal failed. There was no scoro in the second spell, and the game {thus ended in favor of Wellington by three points to one.
