H.M.S. Dart. Sydney, June 30. H.M.S. Dart has just (8.40 p.m.) arrived here.
The officers ot H.M.S. Dart report that tho vessel experienced exceptionally heavy gales nearly all the way across from New Zealand,. When off the North Cape, which was on the lee shore, the gunboat had the utmost difficulty in steaming out of danger. Off the Three Kings, a tremendous sea swept the decks of the Dart, and carried away one of tho boats from the davits. When the storm raged the Dart only travelled 13 miles in seven days, On the voyage across and in tine weather ono of the crew fell overboard, and a lad sprung in after him with a lifebuoy. Both were rescued. Off the Australian coast the Dart experienced a terrific gale, and lost another of her boats. In this storm five of her drew were injured, and some of her sails were blown away. The officers assert that the rigging of tho vessel which was supplied from naval Btores, was rotten, although new,'
Tho owner of tho schooner Colonist declares that the vessel soiled on a legitimate cruise, and asserts that Weaver's yarn of a treasure island in the Pacific ia a pure f.tbriciation.

Lamb, market firm. Canterbury is worth Bj|d, Beef, market sluggish. Forequarters are worth 3|d and hindquarters 4d per lb.
