SUFFOCATED TO DEATH.

xWanoanui, January 30. News was received" in town yesterday : of the missinp; of Mr James McDonald, of Ma'ngamaha, ;who had proceeded from home in the morning in order to burn bush. A boy was with biraj who was left in, charge of the horses on the ridge, and who was discovered by two bußhmeii and takon home, ;• McDonald's> dogs, returned home in the evening, by themselves.
