The adjourned case & Hunt v Thos. Minogae, claim £lO 7s for falling 9 acres bush at 23s per acre, came on for judgment, Mr Bunny' for plaintiff, Mr Beard for defendant. His Worship in giving judgment said there was a great difference between the measurements of the plaintiff and that ot Mr T. Drummond, surveyor. He considered the evidence of the latter as practically incontestible. Defendant had throughout expressed his willingness to pay for the work done, and he expressed his surprise at the plaintiff contesting the case in court. He gave judgment in favor of plaintiff for £5 3s tid, being four and a half acres at 235, plaintiff to pay all costs. Mr Bunny demurred, but without effect, The court then adjourned,
