Tub following teams of the above Club will play a match on tho Club's ground on Saturday afternoon next at 3 o'clock sharp:—No. 1 Team.—Full-back: A. D'Arcy; Three - quarter • backs; R, Thompson, E. Pelling; half-backs: W, Watson, Alb. Hoar, T. Thompson, Forwards: Mawhinay, J, Percy, H. Ewiugton, Joe Morris, H. and W, Welch Collier, Holford, Freeth; emergencies; Nicol, Westbrook, W. Grantham. No. 2 Team—Back: F. Grantham; three-quar-ter backs: Hill, Darley; half-backs: E. Welch, Baillic, T. Bannister; Forwards, Iggulden, Emmett, Alf Hoar, O. Percy, Bannister, Martin, O. Ewiugton, J. McKenzie, H. Campbell; Emergencies— Braggins, Broom.
The Poneke F. C. (Wellington) second fifteen, has accepted the challenge of the Red Star first fifteen to play a match at Masterton on the Queen's Birthday (24th inst). If a victory is to be credited to the homo team, nothing but rigorous practice and long-wiuded runs will secure it. The members of the Club will therefore meet at the Park Oval on Friday ovenin? at 7.30 sharp. Distance and direction of tho run will be decided at the place of meeting.
